Second Fundraiser Announcement
July 17, 2025 - Please join Nick for his second campaign fundraiser. The event will be held at the American Legion on August 10, 2025. Food and beverages will be served. This event will be used to raise funds for a wide variety of needs, including campaign literature. Please make all checks out to the Committee to Elect Nicholas G. Giurleo. If you cannot make it, please contact us for a mailing address for checks. Venmo donations up to $50 are welcome. You can also donate on this website here. See you there!
Signatures Submitted and Certified
July 1, 2025 - Nick filed his nomination petition with the city's election office today. He was informed later in the afternoon that his signatures were verified and he is certified to appear on the ballot. Nick thanks the many residents who went out of their way to sign. He also thanks the many residents who offered to sign his petition even after he acquired the number required for nomination.
Nick Meets Neighbors at Community BBQ
June 26, 2025 - Nick was happy to meet neighbors at a community BBQ on Piedmont Road in West Medford today. There, he collected the remaining signatures for his nomination petition and spoke with neighbors about community issues and his solutions. During his remarks with other independently-running candidates, Nick focused on the importance of transparency and the need to reverse efforts to limit public participation at Council meetings.
Nick Sits Down for Interview with Medford Happenings
June 9, 2025 - Nick was happy to sit down for an interview with John Petrella of the public access television program Medford Happenings to discuss his campaign. In the clip, which you can view here, Nick discusses the key issues of affordability, economic growth, and transparency. He also provides some background on who he is and why he's running. Nick thanks John and the entire Medford Happenings crew for putting the show together.
Nick Speaks to Firefighters at Local 1032
June 4, 2025 - Nick spoke with other independently-running candidates to firefighters at Local 1032 today. In his remarks, he thanked the union for its critical opposition to the Proposition 2 1/2 tax hikes, selflessly putting taxpayers before its own interests in acquiring a new fire station. Nick also spoke on the importance of letting firefighters and other city workers do their jobs independently, without unnecessary city interference.
Kickoff Fundraiser A Big Success
April 28, 2025 - Nick held his kickoff fundraiser at Bertucci's today. The turnout was excellent and he raised a lot of money. He thanks everyone who showed up, which included current and former elected representatives on both the local and state level. The funds that were raised will be used for a wide variety of purposes including literature and yard signs. Some were allocated for the construction of this website. Nick gave a speech at the event in which he discussed who he is and why he as running as well as some of his core ideas like affordability and transparency. A clip from that speech can be viewed on his social media pages. Nick will be hosting additional fundraisers in the future. Stay tuned!

Nick will be posting regularly, including clips of him participating in public comment at City Council meetings. These accounts, like this website, are run by Nick personally so everything you are seeing is coming directly from him.
